Susan Hiller

As this blog focuses on the Museum as a medium and the relationship between science and art I felt that Susan Hiller is a great example of how an artist has taken on the idea of anthropology and display. She presents objects in a museum conservation style way, for example her Vitrine installation 'From the Freud Museum, 1991-1997' Hiller collected together traces of memory and places objects which would usually be overlooked within the vitrine.
